The differences between disagreeing about a positive statement and normative statement is facts and objective based.

Explanation:

A positive statement can be defined as the statements made about the world based on facts or descriptions. The economists call such statements as 'positive statements' because they are made using scientific principles. These principles then help the economists to arrive at the conclusions that can be tested.

Normative statements, on the other hand, are mere statements that are value-based. In this, the economists put their viewpoints; they recommend the actions that can be taken.

On disagreeing about a positive statement, <u>other facts that can disprove the positive statements need to be put forward. Such disagreement can be </u><u>solved </u><u>by stating other facts</u>.

On disagreeing about normative statements, <u>disagreements become difficult and debate in such disagreements can exist for long. Because normative statements are the point of view or the suggestions, </u><u>it can not be proved but only be persuaded</u>.
