Great Britain. The Soviet Union. France

As a result of the Red Army and the English French and American forces encircling a defeated nation. The allies agreed to split the nation into the zones they had the most influence. As these territories came to be occupied they imposed an influence in economics and politics. The formation of West and East Germany resulted.

The regions close to France came to be influenced by the French. also, the size of Germany was reduced giving back Alsace and Lorraine. Some parts in the East were redistributed to Poland.

The capital of West Germany was Bonn, and Berlin as the capital of a socialist German state as well split-

The greatest influence was most seen in Berlin. a city that witnessed many social and political disputes. The famous Wall of Berlin represented the tightest form of influence and control in a city full of contrasts.

How did the economic role of women change during the civil war?
frez [133]
More control over the family businesses: The Civil War took men away from farms, businesses, and plantations. Women were expected to take control of matters in their absence.

The war opened new economic opportunities as women were provided a chance to run family businesses. This was especially true for women in the South who had to run plantations while their husbands fought or were involved in the government.

What was Hamilton's problem with articles of confederation<br>
alekssr [168]

Answer:

One of the biggest problems was that the national government had no power to impose taxes. To avoid any perception of “taxation without representation,” the Articles of Confederation allowed only state governments to levy taxes. To pay for its expenses, the national government had to request money from the states.

How did the government fight terrorism on the home front?
valkas [14]

Answer:

The case was finally broken open in the summer of 2002. Confronted with evidence obtained through electronic surveillance and other means, the six admitted that they had gone to Afghanistan the previous year and pleaded guilty to training with a terrorist organization. The successful investigation demonstrated the value of sharing government intelligence with law enforcement officials. But even that information could not reveal why the six had gone halfway around the world.
