When I talk about the experience now, I have mixed emotions. On the one hand, I’m envious of how simple life was before the acci

dent. But on the other, I’ve grown so much as a result of everything that happened that, in an odd way, I’m grateful.

The courage my mother had went with her, and is with her still: rock from New England quarried; now granite in a granite hill.
maxonik [38]
The correct option is  A DESIRE FOR SOMETHING MORE.
From the excerpt given above, it can be seen that the speaker's mother had died leaving her a golden brooch. Even though the speaker cherishes the golden brooch, she is more than ready to exchange it for the rock-like courage of her mother, which she had carried to the grave. The speaker desires something more; she desires the courage of her mother.

2. To better capture the personality of the individual, the artist chose to
serious [3.7K]

In my opinion correct answer is nbr. 1 "pets and items..."  The artist can easily interpret several aspects of the individual's personality by observing these items that transmit likes and costumes, personal interests and pets that can speak, sometimes "loudly" about the personality of someone. Especially the way a person interacts with pets is one of the most valuable keys to reach the bottom of the soul that in some cases a person tries to hide.
