Basically It caused alot of new weapon/tec to be created

One famously known : The Atomic Bomb that hit japan hard

Aircrafts were made

U boats

Improved Radars

To be honest i would go and look for them but this is what came on top of my head

Also Japan was changed after the war

Russia went through some tough times with the soviet union

The America Felt a nice Push in the economy
