What does it indicate when a country such as Canada has a small percentage of its population dedicated to agriculture?
AnnZ [28]
When a small percentage of a country does agriculture, then it indicates that the country relies heavily on food imports from other countries. If they do not grow their own, let's say, vegetables or fruits, then they have to get the necessary staple foods from imports. It will most likely also indicate that the country is trying to be more industrialized focusing more on other industries as compared to concentrating on growing food, plants, and crops. It may also indicate that the country's land is not very conducive for growing a lot of kinds of crops.

How did Sherman's March to the Sea affect Confederate troops? Question 4 options: It motivated the troops to renew their forces
Karolina [17]

The correct answer is: " It decreased morale and increased the number of deserters in the Confederate Army."

Sherman's March to the Sea started in November 1864 and was a military strategy that was put in practice during the American Civil War by the major general of the Union Army called William T. Sherman. His trops left Atlanta, just captured and ended up taking over the port of Savannah too. They manage to destroy infrastructures, industry and civilian properties, which disrupted the economy of the Confederates. This move helped to trigger the surrender of the Confederacy, that was totally broken afterwards.

What should investors consider when planning for their retirement? Check all that apply.
vovangra [49]

Investors should consider:

1. the amount an employer will match for a 401(k): you don't have to forget when you will need the money, retirement  is years away, but you have to know what choices will make it worth by the time you need the money back. And it is also important to know really how much you can invest. When you have a large amount more options are available. But using a variety of investments will reduce the risk.

3. the ideal age to establish a particular retirement plan: that will set you up for the plan you need. Below 50 or older.

4. the amount an investor is allowed to contribute annually, the federal lwa allows a maximun contribution for participants older than 50.

5. the tax laws and breaks related to different retirement plans:  retirement plans can often give you tax benefits in the present it depends to the one you choose. For example, the payment of the tax on the money deposited in a traditional 401 (k) plan can be delayed until the money is withdrawn from the account.

According to question, Power of the purse is correct .

Option A is correct .

In order to prevent the legislative branch from becoming overly powerful, the Constitution's framers granted the President the authority to veto acts of Congress. This serves as an example of the separation of powers that is a cornerstone of the US Constitution. A legal right to unilaterally halt a government action is known as a veto.

The United States President has the ability to veto legislation, which allows him to prevent it from becoming law. One of the many power divisions, or "checks and balances," in the US government is the president's right to veto legislation.
