Answer: 10 weeks

Step-by-step explanation: the first step is to subtract

400-250=150.

So he needs to save $150 to make $400.

Divide $150/$15 =10.

It means he has 10 weeks more to save for $150 to make $400.

Therefore the final answer is 10 weeks

How to get from 92 to 280 in 4 jumps. This is supposed to be an exponential equation. You have to multiply the same number every
bogdanovich [222]
The exponential function is
f(x)=ab^x, where b is the base, the number to multiply every time x is increased by 1.

If f(x)=92, f(x+4)=280, then
f(x+4)/f(x) = 280/92 = ab^(x+4)/(ab^x) = b^4
to find the base b,
b^4=(280/92)
b=(280/92)^(1/4)    ..... fourth root, or take square-root twice
=3.4035^(1/4)
=1.3208  (accurate to 4 places of decimal).

Edit: 92*1.3208^4 gives 279.9858  (missing little bit because of accuracy).
A slightly better accuracy would be
base = 1.320816698856163
and 92*1.320816698856163^4 would still be 279.9999999999993, but VERY close to 280.
So it all depends on the accuracy you need.
If you need more accuracy, please tell me how many accurate digits you'd like the results.
Here it is:
base = 1.320816698856163713875997666455513013800337299231824403890097792042432005288739246325005446716740
and if you multiply together
92*base^4, you will get 280 accurate to at least 90 digits after the decimal.
I think that should be sufficient for what you need.  Recall that these calculations cannot be done or verified on a 10 or 12 digit calculator.

Well, to please you, I have calculated it to 500 digits, don't think that's going to be of much practical use for anybody.
By the way, that's as far as I will do this evening.  My eyes are almost closing!

base=1.3208166988561637138759976664555130138003372992318244038900977920424320052887392463250054467167408005624428737585147309981331510076693180633495574937759374668399829195521733208637815593771220504215429477168159456265024711237470736388371979840461777898466419772297172931568429339640964205400234392902077320257671263508487367942846685479533507498695981037274512050120058009244868634949261015429944340565311559486391625531554216085859773912355361847787636892603324966350039688974359584811585283183726532

Given the figure below, find EF if CA = (6n) and EF = (n + 8)
GalinKa [24]

Answer:

EF = 12

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

CA =6n

EF= n + 8

Required

Find CN

From the attachment:

EF = CD\ and\ CD = DA

Where

CA = CD + DA

This means that:

CA = CD + CD

CA = 2CD

or

CA = 2*EF

This gives:

6n = 2*(n+8)

Open bracket

6n = 2n+16

Collect anf simplify like terms

4n = 16

n= 4

So:

EF= n + 8

EF = 4 + 8

EF = 12

A prism is completely filled with 2304 cubes that have edge length of 14 cm
Gemiola [76]
All we have to do is find out the volume of all the cubes to get the volume of the prism.

So since cubes are just 3D squares all of their sides are the same.

So for one cube, determining the volume is just 14^3 (length * height * width), which is 2744.

Now we just multiply 2744 by 2304 and we get: 6322176.

And so the answer is 6322176 cm^3.

This can be shown with this equation:
2304 * (14)^3=x

Where x is 6322176.

I hope this helps! (Also if you could give brainliest, I would really appreciate it!)

jok3333 [9.3K]

Answer:

Option D) c = 100, a = 50, s = 20

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

6c + 7a + 2s = 990  -----> equation A

3c + 3a + 4s = 430  -----> equation B

2c + 4a + 4s = 480 ----> equation C

Isolate variable s in equation A

2s = 990 -6c-7a

s=495-3c-3.5a -----> equation D

Substitute equation D in equation B and in equation C

3c + 3a + 4(495-3c-3.5a) = 430

3c + 3a +1,980-12c-14a= 430

-9c-11a=-1,550 -----> equation E

2c + 4a + 4(495-3c-3.5a) = 480

2c+4a+1,980-12c-14a=480

-10c-10a=-1,500 -----> 10c+10a=1,500 -----> equation F

Solve the system of equations E and F by graphing

using a graphing tool

Let

The variable c -----> the x-axis

The variable a ----> the y-axis

The solution is the point (50,100)

see the attached figure

so

c=50, a=100

Find the value of s

s=495-3(50)-3.5(100)=-5 -----> is not make sense

therefore

Let

The variable c -----> the y-axis

The variable a ----> the x-axis

The solution is the point (50,100)

so

a=50, c=100

Find the value of s

s=495-3(100)-3.5(50)=20

therefore

The solution is

c=100,a=50,s=20
