Hey there! :D

Plug in the points to see if they work.

y=7x

(2,14) -> (x,y)

14=7*2

14=14

That works.

(0,0)

0=7*0

0=0

That works

(1,7)

7=7*1

7=7

That works.

The points that work are (2,14), (0,0), and (1,7)

I hope this helps!

qaws [65]
∠C = 180° - (∠A + ∠B) = 180° - (64° + 85°) = 180° - 149° = 31°
AC= \frac{9.3*sin(85)}{sin(31)} = \frac{9.3*0.9962}{0.515} =17,99 \\  \\ BC=\frac{9.3*sin(64)}{sin(31)} = \frac{9.3*0.8988}{0.515} =16,2

the first term of an arithmetic sequence is 10 and the sum of the first five terms is 250,find the sequence
Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

The  sequence  is:

10, 30, 50, 70, 90.....................

Step-by-step explanation:

We have,

First term (a) = 10

Common difference (d) = ?

Sum of first 5 terms (S_{5}) = 250

or, \frac{n}{2} [{2a+(n-1)d}] = 250

or, \frac{5}{2} [2*10 + 4d]=250

or, \frac{5}{2} * 4[5+d]=250

or, 10(5 + d) =250

or, 5 + d = 25

∴ d = 20

Now,

2nd term = a + d = 10 + 20 = 30

3rd term = a + 2d = 10 + 2*20 = 10 + 40 = 50

4th term = a + 3d = 10 + 3*20 = 10 + 60 = 70

5th term = a + 4d = 10 + 4*20 = 10 + 80 = 90

The height of a certain banner is equal to one third of its length. If the banner is 5 ft tall, write the equation that can be u
pav-90 [236]

Answer:

L=3h

Step-by-step explanation:

Let height of a banner be h, then we know that this is \frac{1}{3} of the length L of the banner; so we have

h=\frac{1}{3} L .

Now we can rearrange this equation to solve for the length of the banner given it's height:

L=3h

So there we have it!

If the banner is 5 ft tall, then it's length will be:

L=3*5=15ft
