Should colonists stay loyal to the British Government.2 Paragraphs

History
1 answer:
Tanzania [10]2 years ago
7 0
throughout the times of the revolutionary way, there were two sides who primarily pitted against each other. the patriots were colonists who chose to strive for independence and the loyalists sometimes called Tories were those who were loyal to great Britain.

they had affirmed allegiance the King and did not want to violate their oath, they did not feel the taxes and the land grabs colonists were trying in Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee sufficient reason to strike. they also wanted to keep the assurance of the royal navy for their fleet of merchant ships and the strength of the royal army against possible strikes from other European powers. and were frightened that if the people got the power it might risk their luxurious lifestyle.

though the colonists who did remain loyal did so because they had it good under British rule or because they dreaded of what would happen if they attempted to break away. many wealthy people favored leaving well enough alone. most revolutions are started by the educated middle class, which is one reason why dictators often try to pass that group.

hope this helps, try to add stuff to it and fix up mistakes if there are any.

Which of the following was not a contributing factor to the Phoenicians becoming a great seafaring civilization? a. Location nex
Nataly_w [17]

The answer to what is not a contributing factor to the Phoenicians becoming a great seafaring civilization is a location next to the mountains. The Levant area where Phoenicians city states were concentrated was rich in natural resources. The location next to the Mediterranean Sea and the ample supply of lumber for ship building made the city states of Phoenicia a great trading civilization.
