Answer:

1.) 50

2.) 8

3.) 92

4.) 72

Step-by-step explanation:

We already know that when rounding that 5 and over we round up, and 4 and under we keep the number the same, so on 49.82 we see that there is an 8 in the tenths place so we round the number 49 upwards to 50, and so on :)

Hope I helped :)

Answer: The answer for question one is 50. The answer for question two is 8. The answer for question three is 92. The answer for question four is 72.

Step-by-step explanation: Simply take a look at the number in the tenths place-- the number just after the decimal. If it is five or above, then round the whole number up one, if it is 4 or below, then the whole number remains the same, as it has no effect. Hope this helps!

What is the interquartile range of 45,60,40,90,60,50,75,120,90
puteri [66]
IQR = 40

1) Put the numbers in order: 40, 45, 50, 60, 60, 75, 90, 90, 120
2) Find the median: Median is 60 (the 2nd one)
3) Place parentheses around the numbers above and below the median. For easy identification of Q1 and Q3. (40, 45, 50, 60,) 60, (75, 90, 90, 120)
4) Find the Q1 and Q3. Q1 = median of the lower half of the data; Q3 = median of the higher half of the data. Q1 and Q3 have even sets so its median cannot be defined.
5) Had both sets contain odd sets, the median of Q1 is subtracted from the median of Q3 to get the IQR.

We can then use the Alternative definition of IQR.
IQR is the difference between the largest and smallest values in the middle 50% of a set data.

40, 45, 50, 60, 60, 75, 90, 90, 120

Middle 50% is 50, 60, 60, 75, 90; IQR = Largest value - smallest value;

IQR = 90 - 50 = 40

Classify the polygon as regular or irregular, and concave or convex.
Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

This would be a regular polygon.

Step-by-step explanation:

A regular polygon has congruent sides and interior angles.

An irregular polygon does not have congruent sides and all interior angles.

A convex polygon does not have a interior angle greater than 180°.

Lastly, a concave polygon has only one interior angle greater than 180°.

Using the process of elimination, it would not be a convex or concave polygon. Now we have either a regular or irregular polygon. This polygon can not be a irregular polygon because all the sides are congruent. This means that this polygon is a regular polygon!
