The Treaty of Versailles was not a good peace treaty for the future. First of all it wasnt a real peace treaty , Germany didnt have any choice , Germany was forced to sign it . Germany loses 15% of its territory and its colonial empire . Then the army restrictions where very high as the german army couldnt produce aircraft , tanks and artilery and a limit of 100,000 men in the army was set . The war reparations that germany had to pay were too enormous 132 milliards goldmarks (money used by germany and it would be equal to 47 312,1 tons of gold) But only 20,6 milliards were payed because the economic situation in the Weimar's republic was disastrous .
The treaty made Germany poor and the unemployement rose , this treaty made it possible for hitler to raise to power as he promissed to restore the nation's pride and restore the economy and military might.

They wanted women to rely on men so they would cut there feet, and unable to do manual labor. Women did not have certain rights as men did. Women were not allowed to fight in battles, own property, make big dissuasions. Lots of stuff us women take for granted today, many women back then would have wished they could be us.

The Organic Theory of geography -- or maybe more accurately, of geopolitics -- was proposed by German geographer Friedrich Ratzel in 1897. He suggested that nations function similarly to living organisms. The controversial part of his theory was that the way a living organism takes in nourishment to grow and thrive, strong nations naturally will nourish and expand themselves, taking in weaker nations or cultures around them. Ratzel coined the term "Lebensraum" (German for "living space"), which originally, in his view, meant the space for a strong nationalist culture to grow. His writings came only a few decades after the German Empire had been reborn as the "Second Reich" (second kingdom), a renewal of the older "Holy Roman Empire" of German states as they were linked together in the medieval era. Ratzel's ideas about "Lebensraum" later were picked up by Hitler and the Nazis as a justification for expanding German territory and taking over neighboring countries. Germany's expansion under the Nazis as the "Third Reich" led to World War II in Europe.
