Acid rain become an international problem because it reduced efforts to clean emissions

Further Explanation:

Acid rain includes all types of precipitation with acidic content with a pH value of less than 7. These types of precipitation are harmful to aquatic animals and their infrastructure. Acid rain is the result of the reaction of Sulfur dioxide and Nitrogen oxide with water molecules present in the atmosphere.

Acid deposition is referred to all kinds of precipitation, smog, fog, and mist that have acidic content in it. Deposition can be dry or wet, but in all states, it is hazardous for the environment. The deposition generally has a pH value of less than four and can have pH value as a minimum of 1.5. Sulphuric acid and Nitric acid are two components generally found in the deposition. Pollutants can easily be travel to other countries through the air. Acid pollutants produce in one country deposited as acid rain in other different countries. Acid rain is referred to as an international problem because the emission of pollutants does not equally deposit in that country. Many countries emit a very small amount of pollutants and deposition can be greater. On the other hand, manys countries produce more pollution than is deposit in that country because of general wind directions.

What was the result of the Supreme Court decision for Dred Scott v. Sanford?
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

It ruled against Dred Scott and set aside the Missouri Compromise and popular sovereignty.

Explanation:

The case Dred Scott v. Sanford argued whether a slave can obtain his freedom when he step on a state that make slavery illegal.

It happened in 1857. At that time, Dred Scott's (A slave) was taken by his owner from Missouri to Illinois. (According to Missouri compromise,  It is still legal to own slaves in Missouri but It is Illegal to do so in Illinois).

Scott tried to make his case to the court stating that as soon as he entered Illinois, his status as a slave should be voided and he should be considered as a citizen.

At that time, The Missouri supreme court ruled against Scott's plead. The court stated that he could never be a citizen since citizenship only apply to white people. So he's still a slave no matter where his slave owner took him.

What was one cause of the French and Indian war?
Len [333]

The French and Indian War began in 1754 and ended with the Treaty of Paris in 1763. The war provided Great Britain enormous territorial gains in North America, but disputes over subsequent frontier policy and paying the war's expenses led to colonial discontent, and ultimately to the American Revolution.
