Answer:

c. the more helpful a child is, the more friends he or she has.

Explanation:

The correlation coefficient between measure of children's helping behavior and the number of friends is said to be 0.80. Assuming that the significance level is already met and here we only consider correlation coefficient, a correlation coefficient of more than 0.5 is considered a strong correlation. A correlation coefficient is between 0-1 and can have a positive or negative sign. 0 represent no correlation and 1 represents maximum correlation achievable. A minus (-) or negative sign means if one decreases, the other increases. A plus (+) or positive sign means if one increases, the other also increases. Here, it is +0.8 which means the more helpful a child is, the more friends he or she has.

Research suggests that women, more than men, are more likely to discern whether or not a couple is romantically involved or not.
Pavel [41]
The answer is "Women are more skilled at reading NON VERBAL emotional cues."  Women in general have the uncanny ability to read body and facial language than men.  They are more attuned to reading meaning in simple hand gestures or eye contact.  Women are also sensitive for people's body language in relation to the opposite sex.

Why did the Huguenots come to present-day Georgia in the 1700s
svetoff [14.1K]

Answer & Explanation:

Huguenots were French Calvinists who fled religious persecution under Louis XIV; they came to Georgia via South Carolina.

A large Huguenot community in South Carolina dates from the 1680s, and some of its members crossed into Georgia as early as the 1730s.

Lacking a French Protestant church in Georgia, Huguenots often affiliated with Anglican congregations.

John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church, reported visiting a French-speaking village near Savannah in 1737.

By 1745 an Anglican priest in Savannah offered to hold services in French for their benefit.
