What are the similarities between the first industrial revolution and the second industrial revolution?

Industrial revolution which referred to as the period in the 18th and 19th century and was broken out in Britain in1780.It was the change which was biggest in human history.

Some of the similarities between the first and second industrial revolution include,

(i)                  They both involved in using machines instead of hand tools whereby the machines were used to make products.

(ii)                The impact they had on workers. Workers worked in big impersonal factories and they no longer worked in a small environment.

(iii)               They led to new products which were produced. The products helped farmers to do work easier and quicker. Example of such product made it easier to are household chores.

<span>They both use technological inventions, for example, the electric telegraph.</span>
