Answer:

C- y=2|x+2|

Step-by-step explanation:

When the number is inside the absolute value bars, the value shifts- so a positive two would move left two, and a negative two would move right two. If the number was outside of the equation, the shape would move up or down- a positive two would move the shape up two, and a negative two would move the graph down two.

What is please meed help fast ?? 3×+3=2×+12
Marina86 [1]
So you first have to draw a line down the middle through the = then subtract either 2x or 3x (I did 2x) on both sides and that should give you 1x+3=12. then I subtracted 3 from the twelve and that gave me 1x=9 and then you divide 1 on each side (which crosses out the x) and so the answer that I got was x=9!

A car moving at a constant speed travels 88 feet in 2 seconds. Use a proportion to find how many feet it travels in one minute
Yuki888 [10]
88 feet in 2 seconds
how many feet in 1 minute?
1 minute is 60 seconds

so, we can write a proportion and solve
feet/ seconds = feet/seconds
88/2 = x / 60
cross multiply
(88 * 60 ) = 2 * x
5280 = 2x
divide both sides by 2
2640 = x

To check:
88/2 =?= 2640 / 60
44 = 44

So the car travels 2640 feet in 60 seconds, or 1 minute.

(btw just in case you wanted to know also, 2640 feet is equal to 0.5 of a mile, that car travels 0.5 miles in 1 minute)

Hope this helps
