Some people like to read books printed on paper, and others like electronic books. Both types of books can have the same stories

and information. Both can have pictures and diagrams. You can feel the pages of a printed book but not of an electronic book. You can change the size of the type in an electronic book but not in a printed book. It's easier to read an electronic book than a printed book in the dark. It's easier to search for information in an electronic book, but it's easier to wander through a printed book. Choose the best sentence to conclude the paragraph. It doesn’t matter whether you read printed books or electronic books. Each kind of book has advantages and disadvantages for readers. It’s better to read a novel as an electronic book and an encyclopedia article in a printed book.

\qquad\qquad\huge\underline{{\sf Answer}}

If two similar waves are traveling in the same medium, then they have same wave velocity. so we can infer that

\qquad \tt \dashrightarrow \:v_A = v_B

Now, as per the formula ~ we know that :

\qquad \sf \dashrightarrow \:v = \lambda \cdot f

  • v = wave velocity

  • λ = wavelength

Now, we can write it as :

\qquad \sf \dashrightarrow \: \lambda_A \cdot f_A = \lambda _B \cdot f_B

And it's also given that frequency of wave A is 3 times that of frequency of wave B.

So, let's add the relation to our equation ~

\qquad \sf \dashrightarrow \: \lambda_A \cdot3f_B = \lambda _B \cdot f_B

\qquad \sf \dashrightarrow \: \lambda_A \cdot3= \lambda _B

\qquad \sf \dashrightarrow \: λ_A = \frac{1}{3} λ_B

So, choice C is correct ~

Answer:

- Para 23: "We got to their dwellings, where we saw they had built a hut for us with many fires in it"

Explanation:

As per the question, the 23rd passage would provide the most adequate supporting details to substantiate the claim that 'de Vaca's encounter with the native Americans might be the cause of Vaca's kind and generous treatment of them in his later life.' This is reflected through the descriptions in the passage like 'we got to their dwellings...in it' as it shows that this experience made him understand their life, culture, and values which they offer to others despite being indigenous. Thus, this not only supports but justifies the claim as well. Hence, <u>para 23</u> is the correct answer.
