I believe the answer to your question is 11. Once you add the squares that aren't cut from the lines, you get 6.You then ad the bottom squares and you get 7, and then you keep adding the squares on the outside. Eventually you get 11 cubic squares.

Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

10\frac{29}{30}

Step-by-step explanation:

5\frac{1}{2} +3\frac{2}{3} +1\frac{4}{5}

Let us group the integers and the fractions.

5\frac{1}{2} +3\frac{2}{3} +1\frac{4}{5} = (5+3+1)+(\frac{1}{2} +\frac{2}{3}+\frac{4}{5}  )

= 9+\frac{15+20+24}{30}

= 9+\frac{59}{30}

=9+1\frac{29}{30}

=10\frac{29}{30}

Which is the rate of change for the interval between 2 and 6 on the x-axis?
nadezda [96]

Answer:

3

Step-by-step explanation:

I think you misses attaching the photo, so please have a look at my photo for your better understanding.

We know the formula for rate of change of the  parabola line:

\frac{f(b)- f(a)}{b-a}

Given here:

a= 2 => f(a) = 2

b=6 => f(b) = 2

Substitute all the values into the function, we have:

\frac{14-2}{6-2} = 3

So the rate of change is 3
