I need help. The units of the definite integral are the units of the x-axis times the y-axis. So in a velocity (m/s) versus time (s) graph, the units would be meters. However, when we do the average value of a function, the units stay as what they were before even though we are still taking the definite integral. The average value of the velocity function would be in m/s and not in meters. Why is this?
