I’m not sure what weight you’re asking about so I’ll show you both.

Weight in physics is measured in Newton’s and will usually ask you to round to me nearest newton or half newton
Formula: Weight=mass x gravitational acceleration
W=mxg

Weight as in a persons weight is actually the mass of a person, based on their gravitational pull towards earth
Scales can use a variety of measurements:
Ounces
Pounds
Kilograms
Stone
Newtons

You’re measurements depend on what country you live in and what scale you use
Most results are rounded to the nearest whole number, .5 or even to any one decimal place,

hope this helps, if you need anything else, I’m happy to answer any extra questions

Answer:

The answer Is 10.20

Step-by-step explanation:

d = \/(0-(-2))² + (-6-4)²

d = \/(0+2)² + (-10)²

d = \/(2² + 100)

d = \/(4+100)

d = \/104

d ~ 10,20

Estimate the value 9.03 + 19.87 x 3.11 - 4.97
dybincka [34]

Answer:

82

Step-by-step explanation:

For this problem you would first round everything. 9.03 becomes 9, 19.87 becomes 20, 3.11 becomes 3 and 4.97 becomes 5. You then just do the problem. 9 + 20 = 29, multiplied by 3 makes 87, 87 - 5 = 82.

A leading bank is coming up with an investment that pays 8 percent interest compounded semiannually. What is the investment's ef
uranmaximum [27]
The effective rate is calculated in the following way:
r =  {(1 +  \frac{i}{n} )}^{n} - 1
where r is the effective annual rate, i the interest rate, and n the number of compounding periods per year (for example, 12 for monthly compounding).
our compounding period is 2 since the bank pays us semiannually(two times per year) and our interest rate is 8%
so lets plug in numbers:
r = {(1 +  \frac{8\%}{2}) }^{2}  - 1 \\ r =  {(1 +  \frac{1}{25}) }^{2}  - 1 \\ r =  \frac{676}{625}  - 1 \\ r = 0.0816 \: or \: 8.16\%

A destroyer on patrol spots an aircraft at an altitude of 10,000 ft and an angle of elevation of 20⁰. How far is the aircraft fr
Reika [66]

sin= \frac{opp}{hyp} \\\\sin (20) = \frac{10000}{hyp}\\\\hyp= \frac{10000}{sin(20)} \\\\hyp= 29238 ft

The aircraft is 29238 ft from the ship

//

Note: this is based on my assumption that we are looking for the hypotenuse.

If we are looking for the adjacent side, then the answer would be 27475 ft.
