Why is gunshot residue important for a forensic scientist? What are the potential complications with this type of evidence?

The gunshot residue is important, because if a man/woman has recently shot a firearm, to hurt someone, the gun as soon as it is fired it will leave the residue. So if someone was to commit a crime of any sort using a gun, and they have fired it the scientist can take a swab of the suspects hands, and find out if they are responsible for the crime. The bad part about this evidence is that it is easily taken care of. The suspect could have worn gloves, and gotten rid of them. Therefore there would be no residue on his/her hands.

The Bretton Woods institutions are reflective of a ________ economic perspective. a. constructivist b. statist c. liberal d. mer
ser-zykov [4K]

Answer:

C is the correct answer.

Explanation:

The result of the Bretton Woods System was launched after the end of the world war. It was a liberal system as it aimed to set an open system of international trade in goods and services. It was also facilitated by semi-fixed exchange rates. But at the same time, it wanted to embed the market forces in a framework where they could be controlled by National Governments so that they can control the international capital flow. And for this purpose, The world Bank and International Monetary fund were created.

None of the options shows an alternative Tina has, a real alternative would be a credit card and cash ($190)

In economics, an alternative is an element that replaces or substitutes another. For an element to be considered an alternative it needs:

  • To belong to the same category or have the same function.
  • To be possible for the user to replace the first element using the alternative.

Based on this, let's analyze each of the options:

  • Jacket and $100: These are not alternatives because Tina wants a jacket and this product cannot be replaced with money as money will not protect Tina from cold weather.

  • Shoes and a jacket: These are not alternatives because Tina wants the two products not only one.

  • Credit card and $100: These would be alternatives if the total cost was $100. However, using a credit card Tina can pay for both products but using $100 she can only pay for one of the products.

Therefore, the options do not present alternatives; but one valid alternative is a credit card and $190.
