Answer:
Maibon and Anthony Trudel react in different ways when their wishes are granted.
Maibon was pleased at first since he will never be old. As the days passed by, he realized that every day was the same and that he was not aging nor living his life. This leads him to realize that his wish will not make his dream come true and will not make him happy. We can see this when he says “I want no more of it. Whatever may happen, let it happen. That’s better than nothing happening at all. I’ve had my share of being young; I’ll take my share of being old. And when I come to the end of my days, at least I can say I’ve lived each one of them.”
On the other side, there is Anthony Trudel, a teenage boy with cancer who wanted to meet his idol Rickie Fouler. Anthony was happy because he could watch his favorite golf player in action and talk with him. He did not want a photo with him. He wanted to see Fouler play and interact with others since this was what he admired of him. We can see this when Anthony says " What I won’t forget is unflappability. His cool. His understanding of what he got to do. His studious and laid-back demeanor as he walked a few feet from his hero, taking mental notes on his swing, on how he read the greens, on his putting stroke". Also, when he says “That’s one of the reasons I’ve always liked him,” said Trudel, “it’s the way he treats people.” We can see that Anthony wants to learn and aspires to be like him. He is living every day of his life has the probability of meeting Rickie Fowler again due to the short distance between residences.
In conclusion, Maibon asked for something that did not allow him to live his life but made him realized that time is essential in every life and makes things precious. Something that Trudel knew and, that is why he used his days to make worthy memories.

The three types of appeals:
-Pathos: appeal to emotions: make the children imagine someone can read their thoughts and knows their last embarrassing memory; then compare it to the personal information that can be leaked
-Ethos: appeal to the general argument that everyone should have the right to decide who knows what about whom
-Logos: appeal to logic: tell the that if their personal information is leaked, it can be used by other people, if if it's not leaked, it won't be used by other people
