Answer:

There are three major classifications of substances known as acids or bases. The Arrhenius definition states that an acid produces H+ in solution and a base produces OH-. This theory was developed by Svante Arrhenius in 1883. Later, two more sophisticated and general theories were proposed. These are the Brønsted-Lowry and the Lewis definitions of acids and bases. The Lewis theory is discussed elsewhere.

Co-ordinates of midpoint of A(2,2) and B(3,5) is ____
g100num [7]

\huge \sf༆ Answer ༄

Using section formula ~

\sf x = \dfrac{ mx_2 + nx_1}{m + n}

\sf y = \dfrac{ my_2 + ny_1}{m + n}

Midpoint divides a line into ratio of 1 : 1, therefore the values m and n are equal to 1

\sf x = \dfrac{ x_2+ x_1}{1 + 1}

\sf y= \dfrac{ y_2+ y_1}{1 + 1}

Next step :

Use the coordinates of given points to find the coordinates of mid point ~

that is ;

{ \qquad{ \sf{ \dashrightarrow}}}  \:  \: \sf \:x =  \dfrac{2 + 3}{2}

{ \qquad{ \sf{ \dashrightarrow}}}  \:  \: \sf \:y =  \dfrac{2 + 5}{2}

Next step :

{ \qquad{ \sf{ \dashrightarrow}}}  \:  \: \sf \:x = 2.5

{ \qquad{ \sf{ \dashrightarrow}}}  \:  \: \sf \:y = 3.5

So, the required option is ~

\large \sf {(2.5  \: , \:  3.5)}

Parker is planning to build a playhouse for his sister.The scale model below gives the reduced measures for width and height. Th
Ipatiy [6.2K]

Answer:

10 \times 3.5 = 22x

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that:

Parker wishes to construct a \text{playhouse} for his sister. The width and the height of the house is not scaled to the yard space.

So the width of the play house = 22 centimeters

The height of the play house = 10 centimeters

Bu the space in the \text{yard is large} enough that a play house can be constructed so that it have a width of 3.5 meters.

So the cross multiplication of the proportion that parker uses to find the height of the playhouse is given by : 10 \times 3.5 = 22x
