Answer:

0.75m + 4 \leq 10, Nick doesn't have enough money for a 15 minutes car wash.

Step-by-step explanation:

They charge you $4 for the first 5 minutes so you're going to add that into your equation.

They charge you $0.75 for each minute after those 5 minutes, you don't know how many minutes you'll spend so <u>m,</u> the number of minutes is unknown

Now onto the car guy, he says you should at least spend 15 minutes for a car wash. Now multiply 0.75 x 15. You'll get 11.25. Add the 4 and overall you have 15.25. That is NOT less than NOR equal to 10 so therefore he doesn't have enough money. Anything more than 8 minutes is gonna be over $10.

Hope that helps!

How to find the width of a rectangle when length and area is given?
Black_prince [1.1K]
Area of a rectangle is equal to length times width so the equation:

A = lw

To find w, you would solve for it in this equation by dividing by l on both sides like so:

\frac{A}{l}= \frac{lw}{l}

Which leaves you with:

w =  \frac{A}{l}

So to find width you divide the Area by the length:

w = \frac{A}{l}
