History

Ostrogoths originated from a Germanic people called the Goth. The 6th century historian, Jordanes, says that the Goths emerged from the southern Scandinavian regions, were distinguished from other peoples for using short swords, round shields and for being extremely faithful to their superiors.

In the beginning, the Goths maintained a unity, but over time they ended up dividing into two parts. One of them was named as the Visigoths, who were the Goths from the West and the other was the Ostrogoths, who were from the East.

The incident that ended up separating the Visigoths from the Ostrogoths was the Hun invasions in the vicinity of the Black Sea, on the borders of the Roman Empire. Before that, the two peoples were ruled by King Hermenerico. However, with the Hun invasions, Hermenerico ended up committing su/cide and was succeeded by two kings: Vitimiro and Fritigerno. The first led the ranks of the Ostrogoths and the second ruled the Visigoths.

The height of the Ostrogoth people occurred in the 3rd century, when they formed a great empire in the northern Black Sea region. From the 5th century, the Ostrogoth kingdom began to decline after a series of conflicts with the Huns and the Byzantine Empire. With the wars and several deaths, the ostrogoths lost their cohesion and ended up being eliminated.

Historians seek to interpret historic sites, artifacts, written records, and verbal histories without adding their own what?
ryzh [129]

The correct answer is - Biases of interpretation.

In general, the historians are trying to avoid adding their biases of interpretation of the history. They try to focus on using as information only the sites, the artifacts, what has been written, the verbal history among the peoples, in order to give the most objective interpretation of the historical events.

Unfortunately, there's also lot of historians that do tend to use their biases of interpretation of the history, often resulting in nationalistic ideals, tensions between nations and people, and even war if they are convincing enough.

The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union most resembles what American document? the preamble to the Constitution
vredina [299]

The European Union's Charter of Fundamental Rights combines the most significant personal liberties and rights enjoyed by EU citizens into a single legally enforceable document.

Define Bills of rights?

The first ten amendments to the United States Constitution, which were enacted as a unified unit on December 15, 1791, and which represent a collection of mutually reinforcing guarantees of individual rights and limitations on federal and state governments, are known as the Bill of Rights.

The Bill of Rights is based on the Magna Carta (1215), the English Bill of Rights (1689), the colonial struggle against the king and Parliament, and the American people's constantly growing sense of equality.

Thus, Option D is correct.
