What kind of difficulties is the person in this situation likely to face?

The person in a situation like that is likely to face isolation and be insulted by people they might not even know. Society's field day is having someone to accuse, to judge, to point its finger at. Whether that individual is guilty or not is just a minor detail.

What psychological and emotional experiences might someone in this situation undergo?

Someone in such a situation might undergo mixed emotions, all negative and destructive: sadness, a sense of injustice, anger due to taking the blame for something they did not do and also the feeling of not being able to do anything to try and convince people he or she is innocent.

Which of those experiences relate to Gregor's experience?

The experiences which relate to Gregor's are the following ones: sadness and a sense of injustice. Gregor was a good guy, very responsible and hardworking. The fact he turned into an insect and was mistreated by his family deeply upset him, since he did not deserve it. An innocent person who is accused of a crime they did not commit also feels in such a way.

What themes in The Metamorphosis are relevant to the experiences of someone in the situation you chose?

The themes in The Metamorphosis that are relevant to the experiences of someone in the situation I chose are again the sadness, the feeling of being a monster who does not get anything but anger from the people around them, despite not deserving it.

How are those experiences similar to Gregor's experiences after his transformation?

After Gregor's transformation, he faces his family's utter disgust for him. They even get violent (especially his father), and it also happens to people who are accused of a crime: not only do they face verbal insults, they are also victims of violence at a physical level at times.

How are they different?

The difference between Gregor's experiences and the experiences a person who is accused of a crime undergoes is the following one: whereas Gregor has to deal with the hostility from his family, there is also a deep psychological issue going on: the character is clearly mentally disturbed, not in a negative way, but he indeed thinks deeply all the time, in a very destructive way. He is a tormented soul. A person who is wrongly accused of a crime does not necessarily have those types of issues.

How are the social interactions of a person in this situation similar to the interactions between Gregor and the other characters in The Metamorphosis?

The social interactions of a person in this situation are similar to the interactions between Gregor and the other characters in The Metamorphosis in the following way: both a person in the aforementioned situation and Gregor face the hostility that comes not only from people they  either don't know or aren't close to ; it also comes from the ones they love.
