Okay so 1) Zeus is the god of thunder and lightning but above all is the king of the gods. The pantheons main gods of war are Ares and Athena. Although there are several minor gods and goddesses in Greek myth who you could argue have some baring over war.
2) beliefs are hard to say for Greek gods because their stories have been translated and retold almost a thousand times over. Really whats important to remember from Greek myth is that the gods represented human flaws. In Greek myth the gods weren't any better then us and most of the time could be considered worse. Greek mythology could be considered a cautionary tale of pride or deadly cycles.
3) If your looking for the human flaws that where shown through Zeus it's lust and pride (although you should just assume every god is prideful, the only two in the pantheon who don't demonstrate this trait are Artemis and Hesta)
As Alexander's empire expanded, the Greek culture spread and merged with other cultures. In the lands he conquered after the battles, he treated his enemies with respect and honor and taught them Greek culture and ideas. hope this helps
In the year 1838, 16,000 Native Americans were marched over 1,200 miles of rugged land. Over 4,000 of these Indians died of disease, famine, and warfare. The Indian tribe was called the Cherokee and we call this event the Trail of Tears.
