English
1 answer:
densk [106]3 years ago
4 0

Black men are being victimized because of the accusation that they raped white women, but of this there is no history, it was a motive that was used to justify the lynching. That blacks were inferior to whites and therefore there was justification for this society as a whole to be overthrown. Also because they were becoming a primitive race.

Which similarity do William Shakespeare's sonnet 130 and shwayzes song perfect for me have in common
ryzh [129]
sonnet 130 was basically about him loving all of these qualities and people but it never worked and loves favor. he frequently spoke about how she was so beautiful and the things that he loved about her and in the song he continuously talks about her good qualities and why he loves her.

in both the song in the sonnet they constantly talk about how she's perfect she's not comparable to the sun her eyes are beautiful and that is similar

in the song he says "I know I will never get you girl if I let you go and forget you girl he basically repeats how Shakespeare will never get this girl but he still loves her

4. Which line best explains why the speaker begins to speak at the end of the poem but then
Fed [463]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

The poet's meaning behind saying "suddenly everything is a metaphor for how short a time we are granted on earth" is to symbolize enjoying the little time we have to live. Everything being a metaphor is to show how the meaning of enjoying life can be seen in many things and interpreted in different ways. The poet is saying that little things are becoming reminders of the shortness of life.
