The message that the poet conveys in the poem is the mourning of the path to the forest that has access to the wonderful creatures and things in the forest.

There is a parallel between man's actions and nature's reaction because with the disappearance of the path to the forest and man's inability to have access to it, the animals have returned and more trees have been replanted because there is no need to fear the humans that usually travel the path.

The poem <em>The Way Through The Woods </em>by Rudyard Kipling is a poem that talks about the changes that happen to a forest.

The poem is made up of two stanzas with each stanza having twelve lines and the other, thirteen.
