On his travels throughout Europe, Peter and the Great gained various experiences and implemented many of them in Russia. He introduced many reforms. There is almost no segment of life that has not been covered by the changes of this ruler. However, what impressed the ruler most on his travels around Europe was the navy. During his visit to the Netherlands, which was then one of Europe's strongest navies, the king was delighted.
