In reaction to president Nixon's to the  "saturday night massacre," many people called for  him to be impeached. meaning that the  U.S. President Richard Nixon... ordered Attorney General Elliot Richardson to fire independent special prosecutor Archibald Cox because  Richardson refused and resigned effective immediately
