20 rows times 25 chairs in each row minus the 5 left out chairs equals total number of chairs set up.

= (20*25) - 5
= 500 - 5
= 495

They set up 495 chairs.

Hope this helps! :)

495 because 25×20 is 500 but since they were 5 short your answer is 495 because 500-5 =495. Hope it helped

The data collected from the actual game experiment is:

Win: 8 times
Lose: 40 times
Total trials: 48 times

Therefore, the probability that you will win when you play this game is:

WIN = 8/48
        = 1/6 or 0.1667 = 16.67% chance of winning

LOSE = 40/48
           = 5/6 or 0.8333 = 83.33% chance of losing.

If a farmer can grow 100 tubs of grapefruit or 250 tubs of oranges per acre of land, what is the opportunity cost of growing one
irinina [24]

Answer:

Option A. 0.4 of an orange

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula to calculate the opportunity cost is

Opportunity cost = \frac{\text{Sacrificed}}{\text{Gained}}

In this question for the high yield, sacrificed thing is 100 tubs of grapes and gain is to produce 250 tubs oranges.

Opportunity cost = \frac{100}{250}=0.4 of an orange

Therefore, Option A. 0.4 of an orange, will be the answer.
