The correct answer is "Splitting the Atom".

Scientist Albert Einstein and Robert Oppenheimer made both critical contributions to the development of nuclear weapons. Albert Einstein focused on the theoretical part, proposing his famous "relativity theory", which earned him the Novel Prize for Physics in 1921. On the other hand, Oppenheimer applied the theoretical model of Einstein and applied it to the development of the first Atomic Bomb in New Mexico, which would be later deployed over Hiroshima, Japan on August 6th, 1945.

Interest groups are groups formed by citizens in order to influence public opinion and policy. They are common in most democratic systems, including that of the United States. These groups often employ methods such as lobbying, media campaigns, polls and propaganda in order to achieve their goals.

An example of such a group is the Christian Coalition, which promotes traditional, conservative Christian values. Another example is the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), which fights for equal rights for African Americans. These groups are similar in that they both want to influence public policy, but they are different in their goals, their methods and their level of influence.

What were the advantages and disadvantages of the New Jersey plan and the Virginia plan?
Ipatiy [6.2K]

Answer: Advantages to the New Jersey Plan included giving smaller states equal power to larger states in the federal legislature, as well as giving the federal government more power to raise taxes, to regulate commerce, and to control foreign policy.

Although popular, the Virginia plan had several flaws. It did not distribute enough power to the small states, a major reason why it was not passed. In addition, many felt it did not give enough power to the state government, and would corrupt the nation, turning it into a monarchy.

Explanation: hope this helps :)
