Your answer is:

They were similar to indentured servants because of their extreme work ethic and amount of labor they had to be doing for minimum wage. On the other hand, they were different because immigrants did not get a free passage to England and food, clothes, and shelter provided for them.

Hope this helps!

Who was George McClellan, and why was he fired.
Alex

Answer:

George Brinton McClellan was an American soldier, civil engineer, railroad executive, and politician who served as the 24th Governor of New Jersey.

Explanation:

The Battle of Antietam was the single bloodiest day of combat in the Civil War, and while it was presented as a Union victory in the Northern press, it was in effect a tactical draw. Frustrated that McClellan had again failed to destroy Lee's army, Lincoln officially removed him from command in November 1862.

1. ______ were sent to Kansas to tamper with the voting process
Rama09 [41]

The correct answer to number 1 is New Englanders.

Out of all the options listed, the only people who had the ability to vote were white adult males. This shows that the other 3 choices are incorrect. Along with this, the New Englanders went to tamper with the voting in hopes of making Kansas a free state. This would give free states more political power in the US Congress.

The correct answer to number two is False.

The Kansas-Nebraska Act actually caused more problems than it solved, as violence broke out between people for slavery and people against slavery. This era of fighting in the Kansas territory became known as "Bleeding Kansas."
