Answer:    D. He faced opposition from people who were powerful in the community

Explanation:  When Muhammad began preaching in Mecca, he began to preach monotheism, a belief in one God, which was not similar to centuries ago the beliefs practised by the Arabs. Although descendants of Abraham, they eventually adopted many polytheistic patterns, all the way to Muhammad. So with his preaching for the first time in Mecca, Muhammad encountered opposition from powerful people in the community, above all the merchants. Because of their opposition to Muhammad's then-new faith, powerful people in Mecca were even very keen on his teaching because they saw a danger to their business and lifestyle that had been established on different principles centuries ago, and in their view the new faith would shake the established lifestyle, especially trade.

Muhammad therefore had to move to Medina, where he gathered supporters, like-minded people, and this transition from Mecca to Medina was considered the beginning, the founding of Islam. Subsequently, the supporters, along with Muhammad, returned to Mecca and defeated opponents of Muhammad and monotheism, and so Islam began to develop.

algol13

The views of the British colonists in North America changed because they no longer felt as though Great Britain understood their experiences or represented their needs. They felt as though Great Britain was out of touch with what was going on in America and could no longer successfully, fairly, or legally represent, or defend, America.

This led to colonists meeting to discuss declaring independence from British rule.

AlexFokin [52]

Headlights improve a driver's ability to identify hazards and conditions in the driving environment and even act as a warning to fellow drivers in certain situations.

A headlight is a lamp that is mounted on the front of a car to light the way. Although headlights and headlamps are frequently used interchangeably, in the most formal sense, headlight refers to the gadget's beam of light and headlamp to the device itself. Make sure you can stop in the area where your headlights illuminate. According to the legislation, you are required to turn on your headlights 30 minutes after dusk and keep them on until 30 minutes before dawn. Anytime you can't see at least 1000 feet in front of you, you must switch on your lights.
