Answer:    D. He faced opposition from people who were powerful in the community

Explanation:  When Muhammad began preaching in Mecca, he began to preach monotheism, a belief in one God, which was not similar to centuries ago the beliefs practised by the Arabs. Although descendants of Abraham, they eventually adopted many polytheistic patterns, all the way to Muhammad. So with his preaching for the first time in Mecca, Muhammad encountered opposition from powerful people in the community, above all the merchants. Because of their opposition to Muhammad's then-new faith, powerful people in Mecca were even very keen on his teaching because they saw a danger to their business and lifestyle that had been established on different principles centuries ago, and in their view the new faith would shake the established lifestyle, especially trade.

Muhammad therefore had to move to Medina, where he gathered supporters, like-minded people, and this transition from Mecca to Medina was considered the beginning, the founding of Islam. Subsequently, the supporters, along with Muhammad, returned to Mecca and defeated opponents of Muhammad and monotheism, and so Islam began to develop.

Answer:

Display Rule

Explanation:

According to my research on studies conducted by various sociologists, I can say that based on the information provided within the question this difference is due to a formation of the Display Rule. This term refers to informal cultural norms that individuals learn very early in their lives from different interactions within the society that they are part of. Which is why each culture is different, such as is exhibited by the emoticons used.

What advice does June’s mother give to her early in the story? how does her mother advice affect how do you respond to the other
sveticcg [70]

To be good. It’s just you and me, two women alone in the world, June darling of my heart; we have enough troubles getting by, we surely don’t need a single one more, so you keep your sweet self out of fighting and all that bad stuff. People can be little-hearted, but turn the other cheek, smile at the world, and the world will  surely smile back.” June, although she does not hit June, tease June, or affect her like the other June does because of other mother's words. In trying to avoid trouble, June refuses to seek help; she never tells her teachers or even her mother about her problem with the Other June (lines 90–91). The mother's advice is to avoid trouble, not to avoid help (lines 20–25).
