Answer:

8.6%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Tim Smith has a $90,000 loan.  He paid $1,500 in fees and $6,271.04 in total interest the first year of the loan.

To Find : If the APR is finance charge (interest plus fees) for one year ÷ amount financed, what was the APR for that year?

Solution :

Fees = $1,500

Interest = $6,271.04

Amount financed = $90,000

Financed charge= Fees + Interest = $1,500+$6,271.04 =$7771.04

Since APR =  finance charge (interest plus fees) for one year ÷ amount financed,

= \frac{7771.04}{90,000}

=0.086

APR = 0.086*100=8.6%

Thus  APR for that year is 8.6%

Kazeer [188]

Hey There!

The answer you are looking for is; $6.24!

Work:

You simply add $3.75 + $2.49 together.

Since .75 + .29 = 1.24, you carry the one over to the full dollar.

3 + 2 + 1 = 6.

= 6.24

We can find the lengths of arcs when we know their measure and the radius because the measure indicates the fraction of the circumference we need to include.

Here we have circle with circumference C=2\pi r = 10 \pi \textrm{ inches}

122 degrees is a fraction of that circumference, so has length

d = \dfrac{122^\circ}{360^\circ} 10 \pi } = 10.6465...
