The framers abandoned the articles of confederation in favor of an entirely new constitution. Do you agree with their decision?

Yes, I agree with their decision because under the articles of Confederation, the central government had virtually no power. They couldn't enforce federal laws on the states. They couldn't tax and each state could issue it's own money.  It would have wreaked havoc on the economy and it would not have lead to effective government. The articles were just fundamentally flawed.

The people who inhabited areas of the Indus Valley were engaged in commerce, farming and construction. Because their settlements were located near rivers, they had a constant supply of water   an element essential to life.

Explanation:

  • As the primary branch of civilization, agriculture developed most.
  • Traces of various crops were found on the mounds in the excavated areas. Among the crops they planted are barley and wheat, and what is interesting is that they also planted peas.
  • In addition, watermelon and sesame seeds were found on  the areas they inhabited.
