The main relationship between emerging scientific ideas and open-mindedness is that for many new ideas to be accepted a population has to have an open mind, otherwise the new ideas are rejected without thought.

Answer;

Open-mindedness often leads to emerging scientific ideas

Explanation;

The relationship between emerging scientific ideas and open-mindedness is that Open-mindedness often leads to emerging scientific ideas.

To be open-minded is to realize that there is always more to learn about everything. An emerging scientific idea should be something which is not commonly studied by most of the scientists. If it is found to be common with many scientific ideas then it may not be considered as emerging scientific idea. It has to be unique, different and innovative from rest of the ideas.

By being open minded, we allow all possibilities; this then leads to the acceptance of emerging scientific ideas.

Phagocytes refer to the procedure by which some kind of living cells known as phagocytes engulfs or ingest other cells or particles. The phagocyte may be a free-living one-celled species, like an amoeba, or one of the body cells, like a white blood cell.

In higher species, phagocytosis is mainly a defensive mechanism against infection and invasion of the body by the antigens, that is, foreign particles.

Thus, phagocytosis is illustrated by most types of white blood cells ingesting bacteria, viruses, and other foreign substances.
