9x² - 12x + 4

write the equation with two middle terms that multiply to give 36
9x² - 6x - 6x + 4

by factorisation
3x(3x - 2) - 2(3x - 2)

(3x - 2)²

Thus OPTION A

How do I go about solving sin π/4 + cos π/4
Viktor [21]
Hello Shakyiagrooms. We know:

\sin(\frac{\pi}{4}) = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}
AND
\cos(\frac{\pi}{4}) = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}

By knowing this, we can set the problem up as the following:
 \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}} + \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}
Now we can add them since they have the same denominators:
\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}} +\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}} = \frac{2}{\sqrt{2}}
Now we have to rationalize the radical denominator \frac{2}{\sqrt{2}}. We do this by multiplying \frac{2}{\sqrt{2}} by \frac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}}

\frac{2}{\sqrt{2}}
\frac{2}{\sqrt{2}} \times \frac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}} = \frac{2\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{4}}
\frac{2\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{4}} = \frac{2\sqrt{2}}{2} = \sqrt{2}
So our answer "Drum Roll Please" =
 \sin(\frac{\pi}{4}) + \cos(\frac{\pi}{4}) = \sqrt{2}

$1000 earning 5.25% interest compounded annually for 3 years.
Schach [20]

Answer:

$1165.92

Step-by-step explanation:

1000*5.25%=52.5

1000+52.5=1052.5

1052.5*5.25%=55.26

1052.5+55.26=1107.76

1107.76*5.25%=58.16

1107.76+58.16=1165.92

I could b very wrong here tho XD

The following is the graph of 8y = 2x − 10
Gelneren [198K]
<span>Simplifying 2x + 8y = 10 Solving 2x + 8y = 10
  Solving for variable 'x'. Move all terms containing x to the left,
 all other terms to the right.
  Add '-8y' to each side of the equation. 2x + 8y + -8y = 10 + -8y Combine like terms: 8y + -8y = 0 2x + 0 = 10 + -8y 2x = 10 + -8y Divide each side by '2'. x = 5 + -4y Simplifying x = 5 + -4y</span>
