The structure of mid-latitude cyclone and anti-cyclone is as follows:

A. upward air motion above the surface high

B. cold advection above the surface high

D. divergence aloft above the surface high

F. upward air motion above the low surface

Further Explanation

A cyclone is a depressed or low-pressure area surrounded by a high-pressure area.

Cyclone winds are winds that occur in a cyclone region that moves around to the center of the cyclone. The cyclone's wind direction in the northern hemisphere is counter-clockwise, while in the southern hemisphere it is clockwise.

Cyclone winds are winds that enter the low-pressure center region or commonly referred to as the depressive area surrounded by areas of the high-pressure center which then revolve around isobar lines.

Based on its structure, tropical cyclones are giant regions of a ranged cloud, wind, and thunderstorm activity. The primary energy source of a tropical cyclone is the release of condensed heat/condensation from water vapor which condenses at height.

Extratropic cyclones are capable of producing anything from clouds and light rain to strong winds, thunderstorms, snowstorms, and tornadoes. These types of cyclones are defined as large-scale (synoptic) low-pressure weather systems that occur at Earth's mid-latitudes.

Anticyclone (which is the opposite of cyclone) is a weather phenomenon that large-scale wind circulation around areas with high atmospheric pressure, [which moves] clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and against clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere. The effects of anticyclones on the surface include clarifying the sky and cooler, drier air. Fog can also form in areas with a higher pressure.

Summative - What makes the Earth's Heat Budget so delicate? (Write 4-6 sentences)
ElenaW [278]

Answer: The earth receives a certain amount of Insolation (short waves) and gives back heat into space by terrestrial radiation (longwave radiation). Through this inflow and outflow of heat, the earth maintains a constant temperature and this phenomenon is referred to as the heat budget of the earth. A heat budget is a perfect balance between incoming heat absorbed by the earth and outgoing heat escaping it in the form of radiation. Heat budget is important because it explains, why the earth neither warms up nor cools down despite the huge transfer of heat that takes place.
