1.

So the independent variable is always at the x-axis, and in this case it's time.

The dependent variable is always on the y-axis, and in this case it's temperature.

2.

So ordered pair is (x,y), and in this case it's (8, 87). In context, at 8 AM the temperature was 87 F°.

Travka [436]

Answer:

Ok its pretty straight forward

So for every x its 1

And every y its 4/5

To make life simpler lets just make 4/5 into a whole number

So we can make it into 20/5 which equals 4

To get to 20/5 we multiply 4/5 by 5

So we multiply the x by 5 too

We’d get (5,5)

So you can plot that

And the lines should automatically plug in a different point

You can plug it into negatives

-5, -5

so something between those lines

Like i dontt get how lines work here it Make sure its on the 5,5

I can’t think of an equation but I guess

5=m5

In the Format  Y=mx (yes no y intercept because its a direct proportion formula)

Or you can use the format

y/x=m

5/5=m

Or if they suggest it in a y intercept formula

y-mx+b

just plug in like y with 5 and the x with 5.

You can also use the plot (10,8) still works :)

If I’m worng I’m sorry the question is weird and I’m assuming they asking you about Proportional/direct relationships

If the original quantity is 10 and the new quantity is 6, what is percent increase
Ad libitum [116K]

Answer:

Using the percentage difference formula you can find the percentage decrease.

SO its

100(new-old/new)

So we solve

10-6=4

4/10= 2/5

2/5*100=200/5

40

40 percent decrease

I need help with this question please.
USPshnik [31]
(2/3)*((2/3)*m-(2/3)) = 0

(2/3)*((2/3)*m-2/3) = 0

2/3*(2/3*m-2/3) = 0

2/3*m-2/3 = 0 // + 2/3

2/3*m = 2/3 // : 2/3

m = 2/3/2/3

m = 1
