The story I've read is "The Ugly Duckling". The theme of the story is acceptance. The story builds up the character of an ugly duckling and how he was bullied because of being different. His mother told him not to mind the other ducklings bullying him and go on walking. At the end, they discovered that he was not a duck, that's why he was different.

andrey2020 [161]

Having a good attitude is truly helpful when going through difficult moments. I want to provide an example about someone who has been important in my life:

My grandpa suffered a stroke at his 70 and his face ended up partially paralyzed. He was positive and confident that he would recover from this and that he would be able to have full control over his face muscles. He started some kind of physical therapy and with his determination and proper attitude, he was finally able to make gestures with his face in two months (without a single trace of facial paralysis).

How does character motivation affect a story's plot?
nirvana33 [79]

Character motivation affect a story's plot by doing the act and being consistent about it. Characters in action is what makes plot, and motivation creates action and individualizes character. By doing so, it creates a more powerful story. This affects the trajectory of the plot and will deliver the rightful message to the audience.
