Um...thats a tough one... well first you have to put the formula together  which is pi(10)(26)+pi(10)^2 multiply 10 times 26 then 10 times ten giving us a much more easier equation 260pi + 100pi. we can cross off answer A and answer C just by looking at the simplified equation. now add the two together, giving us 360pi inches^2

Problem 81
netineya [11]

it hasn't been specified which ticket the question's is asking but I'm guessing the price of the adult ones so $30.00

altogether that's two adults and 3 children who all paid a total of $105.00

let's simplify that to algebra

children tickets = c adults tickets = a

3c + 2a = $105.00

we know that 1c is 0.5a because each child ticket is half of an adults one <em>as stated in the question</em>

so in terms of (adults) a: half of 3 meaning 3×0.5= $1.5 meaning 1.5a

so now <em>3c = 1.5a</em>

so we can substitute and have like terms

meaning 1.5a + 2a= $105

3.5a =$105.00

divide by 3.5 on both sides to get a by itself thus the value of a:

a = $30

so each adult tickets cost $30

If line q bisects EG at point T, and if ET= 1/3 x and TG= x-2, then find EG
kvasek [131]

Answer:

EG = 2 units

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that line q bisects EG at T , then

ET = TG  ( substitute values )

\frac{1}{3} x = x - 2 ( multiply through by 3 to clear the fraction )

x = 3x - 6 ( subtract x from both sides )

0 = 2x - 6 ( add 6 to both sides )

6 = 2x ( divide both sides by 2 )

3 = x

Then

ET = \frac{1}{3} x = \frac{1}{3} × 3 = 1

TG = x - 2 = 3 - 2 = 1

Thus

EG = ET + TG = 1 + 1 = 2 units
