Which of the following represents a correct statement about pressures at the arteriolar side of the capillary bed? View Availabl

e Hint(s) Which of the following represents a correct statement about pressures at the arteriolar side of the capillary bed? HPif, OPif, and OPc are all "pulling" into the blood of the capillary. The pressures directed into the blood at the arteriolar end are OPc and HPif. The pressures directed into interstitial fluid are HPc and HPif. The only pressure directed out of capillary blood into interstitial fluid is HPc.

Pressures directed into the blood

Explanation:

 • Blood hydrostatic weight is the power applied by the blood restricted to veins or heart chambers. Significantly more explicitly, the weight applied by blood against the mass of a fine is called narrow hydrostatic weight (CHP), and is equivalent to hairlike pulse. This contradicting hydrostatic weight is known as the interstitial fluid hydrostatic weight (IFHP).
 • The net weight that drives reabsorption—the development of fluid from the interstitial fluid go into the vessels—is called osmotic weight (some of the time alluded to as oncotic pressure). While hydrostatic weight powers fluid out of the slim, osmotic weight moves fluid back in. Osmotic weight is dictated by osmotic fixation inclinations, that is, the distinction in the solute-to-water focuses in the blood and tissue fluid. Its impact on slim trade represents the reabsorption of water.
 • Blood has a higher colloidal fixation and lower water focus than tissue liquid. It along these attraction in water.
 • Hence, the right answer is "the pressures directed into the blood at the arterioiar end are OPc and HPif."

What is the advantage of flowering plants?
denis23 [38]
Flowering plants have flowers that allow for easy pollination via wind or animals. These plants are also able to disperse their seeds, using the wind to help carry the seeds away. Both processes are critical for reproduction.

Describe the differnt phrases and changes of female reproductive system during a menstruation cycle
GenaCL600 [577]
Basically we can divide the whole cycle into 6 phrase. menstruation, repair phrase, ovulation, receptive phrase, and pre menstrual phrase, all in this order.
usually a cycle takes around 28 days, but it can sometimes be longer or shorter depending on different women.
for around the first 5 days (again, it's not exact days) it's menstruation, uterus lining is shed out from the vagina. this only occurs if fertilisation and implantation does not take place.
then for the next few days, it's the repair phrase, oestrogen helps repair the lining of uterus, to thicken it up, to prepare for fertilisation and implantation, a place for the fetus to develope.
next 3 days will be ovulation, where the ovary will release one mature egg (but sometimes 2 or none) into the oviduct, the egg can only survive for a few days so if fertilisation doesn't occur during this phrase, menstruation will occur that cycle.
next will be receptive phrase, where the lining keeps on thickening, and the thickness is maintained by progesterone, another female hormone.
at last it's the pre menstrual phrase, lining will start to degenerate unless implantation ocured.
hope this helps
