Explanation:

Once he was named by President Thomas Jefferson to head the Corps of Discovery, Thermometric Lewis began preparations for the long trip ahead. Much of that preparation involved education; in the months prior to his departure, Lewis would learn astronomy, botany, navigation, medicine and biology, among other scientific disciplines.

In addition, Lewis spent his time accumulating all the supplies that the expedition was going to need. He wrote list after list of provisions, which included guns, ammunition, medical supplies and scientific instruments. While still on the East Coast, Lewis accumulated almost two tons of goods using the $2,500 Congress had allocated for the expedition.

The following list is only a sampling of the supplies taken west by the Corps of Discovery, but it should give a sense of what an undertaking the expedition was.

Alinara [238K]

Answer:

Country X does not have a healthy economy. The prices for basic goods have increased. Fewer people in country X have jobs, and output has fallen along with the country’s GDP. These events have led to fewer people being able to afford college. On the other hand, country Y has a healthy economy. Its output as shown by GDP is increasing. The prices are fairly stable in country Y. More people have jobs, and they have an opportunity for higher education.

pav-90 [236]

Answer:

Obsessive compulsive.

Explanation:

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a mental illness that causes repeated unwanted thoughts or sensations (obsessions) or the urge to do something over and over again (compulsions). Some people can have both obsessions and compulsions.

OCD isn’t about habits like biting your nails or thinking negative thoughts. An obsessive thought might be that certain numbers or colors are “good” or “bad.” A compulsive habit might be to wash your hands seven times after touching something that could be dirty. Although you may not want to think or do these things, you feel powerless to stop.

How do you think the belief that a person could be reborn into a different caste system affected the way people lived in Ancient
11Alexandr11 [23.1K]
People born into lower castes must have been unhappy about it and feeling a lack of fairness. If they did not have a hope for a better life, they could have rebelled against the system. Further, those from the lowest spheres of the society sometimes would have nothing to loose if they rebelled. This would make it even more likely that they could rebel.
The belief that if they accept the current situation gave them a hope that they could actually have a better life in the next life. This kept people from rebelling and maintained security and stability

DENIUS [597]

The inner layer of the serosal pericardium is a thin, transparent layer of simple squamous epithelium called the "visceral pericardium."

What is serosal pericardium?

A fibrous pericardium (parietal covering), which would be mirrored around the roots of the main veins to cover the whole surface of the heart, is lined by a layer of serosa called the serous pericardium (visceral layer).

Some key features of serosal pericardium are-

 • There might be a little hole between the parietal & visceral layers that a small quantity of fluid might fill.
 • The epicardium is the region of a visceral layer which surrounds the heart but not the major vessels.
 • There are two sinuses formed by the serous pericardium as it reflects off different cardiac structures: the transverse sinus as well as the oblique sinus.
 • A cul-de-sac formed by two left pulmonary circulation on one side and also the two pulmonary artery veins on the other, the oblique sinus extends superiorly from of the inferior vena cava.
 • In between four pulmonary veins, its posterior wall of a left atrium forms its anterior wall. The left atrium has room to expand thanks to the oblique sinus.
 • The visceral serosal pericardium is reflected from the posterior portions of the pulmonary and aortic veins onto the superior surface of the atrium to produce the transverse sinus, which is open at both ends.
