How much control over people's lives do democratic countries have compared to communist countries

Social Studies

Nikitich [7]3 years ago

Democratic countries have higher control because they have popular vote where people can choose both their representatives and vote on certain topics through referendums. Communist countries usually have one party systems with one ideology and everyone has to support it, or bad things can happen. In USSR you would be sent to a jail in Siberia, in other countries you could be executed. This doesn't occur in democratic countries.

Political order is the patterns or regularities of social behavior that are induced or set by authority relationships or coercio
Andru [333]

Answer:

The correct answer is TRUE

Explanation:

Political order is achieved and perceived by the stability of a political system, which includes (and is mostly given by) the coercion imposed by the laws and through authorities to the people that is supposed to obey the norms of this political system in order to preserve the political order, for example why do people obey the laws and regulations? It's not merely because is what we should do or what is ethically correct but because if we do otherwise we could end up commiting a crime and therefore (through coercion) we'll get penalised in a way or another and maybe even going to jail, thats how the coercive relationship works to mantain Political Order, therefore the statement in the question is TRUE.
