Answer: Christ proposed an interior change in human beings. And if some of the Victorian middle class people had shared their fortune with the destitute they might have had adhered to Christ legacy. As Christ said, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. In other words riches could have been the worst obstacle to imitate Christ.

A possible obstacle that could and would prevent materially comfortable Christians from living in imitation in Christ would be the requirement that they would live a rather ascetic life without great amounts of material goods and similar things.

As a result of the ______. China was forced to legalize opium and lost control over its economy.
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

C. Opium Wars

Explanation:

There were two opium wars that mainly had Chinese forces against British forces. China had lost both times and would gradually lose economic hubs (coastal cities) to Britain and other European Powers. The reason for these wars was the restrictions on opium, China had placed in. The British had made a lot of money off of the opium trade, they were not keen on losing such a trade so they went to war.

Given our present day condition RA 1425 remind Filipinos to re-dedicate their ideals of freedom and nationalism
melamori03 [73]

Given our present-day condition, RA 1425 reminds Filipinos to re-dedicate their ideals of freedom and nationalism

The Republic Act number RA 1425 is also known as the Rizal Law of the Philippines. This act was set to introduce courses about Jose Rizal in all the curricula of private schools, public schools, universities, and colleges.

The above statement claims that, in today's tough times, there is a high need to re-dedicate the ideals of nationalism and freedom through RA 1425.

In simpler words, the author wants an immediate re-dedication of the ideals since there is a need to develop a fresh commitment to the important factors of nationalism and freedom.
