All the given conditions of the previous scenario, are dynamics associated with inflation, thus the correct answer is D) increased inflation

Full employment is a <em>demand-pull effect </em>of inflation, causing people to have more money to spend on goods, increasing the demand of products which will eventually lead businesses to raise prices, so supply and demand can be balanced. The increased liquidity created by federal funding for college works similar to the above.

On the other hand, war declarations cause a type of inflation called <em>inflationary expectations</em>. Businesses begin to raise prices not because of actual changes in supply or demand or the amount of money in circulation, but due to the fear that some such changes might happen.

Select the correct answer.
Semmy [17]

The correct answer is C.

A monopoly is a market structure where a single firm serves the whole demand of a specific good or service. It does not face competitors, therefore, such firm has absolute market power to decide the price charged for its products.

So, the monopoly is able to charge a higher price than in a perfect competition scenario where the price would be set at the intersection betweeen the demand function and the marginal cost function.

Instead, the quantity sold in the monopoly (<u>q*) is determined by the intersection of the marginal revenue and marginal cost curves, and the monopoly price is computed by substituting q* in the expression of the demand function </u>(because the demand function relates price and quantity).

<u>The result is 15$ as the picture shows. </u>

In-s [12.5K]

According to Piaget's theory of cognitive development, the preoperational stage is the second stage. This stage starts at about two years old and lasts until around seven.

Children think symbolically throughout this time but are not yet using cognitive processes.

<h3>What is the preoperative stage according to Piaget?</h3>

The second stage of Piaget's stages of cognitive development, the preoperational stage, lasts from two to six years old. The majority of a child's preoperational stage is marked by egocentric, or self-centered, thinking.

Children in the preoperational stage engage in pretend play because they utilize symbols to represent phrases, pictures, and concepts.

As she flies about the room, a child's arms can transform into airplane wings, and a toddler holding a stick can transform into a valiant knight brandishing a sword.
