Women's role in society was completely different in the 1920s.

Although Women's workforce during the Roaring twenties increased, the concept of "pink collar" was introduced, which meant that women could work in professions made for them, such as secretary work or telephone operators. In addition, women had to reamin in charge of the household, children and cleaning, etc.

Nowadays, workforce is more equal, and both men and women can perform almost the same jobs.
