A group is a collection of individuals having different perspectives of doing things. These differences are advantages in doing things successful when they are used in good way. But, when those perspectives leads to conflicts then it will result in the difficulties in successful completion of a task.

According to Trucker's model, there are five stages associated with the formation of a group such as Forming, storming,norming,performing and Adjourning. During the norming stage there will be development of consensus in determining the leaders and the roles of individual persons of the group. There will be resolution of the individual differences and sense of cohesion will being to develop at this stage. They will become closer and cohesiveness and cooperate and begin to focus on the goals of the team.
