I am 95% sure it is the geography and climate of the area where they settled. If you take a look at different native groups, you’ll see that the most prominent factors are their farming/hunting and housing styles, both affected mainly by the climate and geography surrounding them.

tresset_1 [31]

Answer:

Industrialization by import substitution.

Explanation:

Import Substitution Industrialization (ISI) is an economic theory that argues that a country, to achieve its development, must transform the raw materials it has instead of exporting them. That is, according to this current of thought, the State should encourage the local manufacture of first-order goods that reach the final consumer.

On diplomatic, technological, and propaganda lines, the Cold War was fought and had only limited recourse to arms.  The concept was first used in an essay written in 1945 by the English writer George Orwell to refer to what he predicted would be a nuclear stalemate between "two or three monstrous super-states, each with a weapon that could wipe out millions of people in a few seconds." In a speech at the State House in Columbia, South Carolina, in 1947, the American financial and presidential advisor Bernard Baruch first used it in the United States.

How was William Howard Taft’s administration different from that of Theodore Roosevelt
Tom [10]

Even though William Howard Taft and Theodore Roosevelt were progressivists, their politics and administration were different.

Roosevelt prefered rough-and-tumble politics, had many ides and schemes, but he ususally left all the details of administering to others.

Taft were calmer and approached things slower. He finished Roosevelt`s job dealing with big businesses, prosecuting twice as many as Roosevelt had.

He came to the White House promising to hold Roosevelt`s legacy but decided to execute the existing law than demanding new legislation from the Congress.

Generally, it is known that the Taft`s administration is considered a failure because he changed the course of the progressive program started by Roosevelt to reactionary conservatism.
