I would say the correct answer is using persuasive language.
She is not trying to persuade anyone to believe her words - she is just writing about her own personal opinions and thoughts about that particular literary work. This is why she doesn't have to make anyone agree with her, which is why persuasive language is not necessary for this type of essay writing.
